Neighborhood News Desk/Avi Arya: The chill across the capital kept increasing on Sunday with windy conditions prevailing leading to air quality improving to “moderate”. AQI ( Air Quality Index) was recorded at 198 as compared to 218 on Saturday, with the minimum temperature settling at 7.8 degrees Celsius.
The capital recorded the lowest maximum temperature of this season on Thursday at 19.1 degrees Celsius. Friday, meanwhile, saw the season’s lowest minimum temperature at 7.3 degrees Celsius. Delhi last saw a “severe” air quality day on November 13 and experts say it is unlikely to see one this December.
