JNUSU calls for boycott of mandatory attendance

Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: Jawaharlal Nehru Students’ Union or (JNUSU) on Sunday called for a boycott of ‘compulsory attendance’ decision of the varsity administration, urging students not to sign the attendance register when the classes resume on Monday that is the first day of the winter semester.

University administration informed the students the measure for ‘mandatory attendance’ last month, stating that the decision was made in the Academic Council (AC) meeting held on December 1.
