Thick fog engulfs Delhi, NCR


Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Aya: Intense cold wave and fog continues to choke rail, road, and air traffic in northern India, several parts of North India, including Delhi and the adjoining National Capital Region, were engulfed in dense fog. On Wednesday morning, total of 21 trains, arriving in Delhi, were delayed, while four were rescheduled and 13 were cancelled due to low visibility of the Fog.

Yesterday a Met Department official said that the maximum temperature in the capital city settled at 25.5 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season’s average. While the minimum temperature settled at 9.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal.
