Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: A 75-year-old woman was brutally murdered after two days in her house in northwest Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh, the accused was arrested from Jahangirpuri while packing his bags to flee the city. The accused, (Budhai), told police that he got angry when she scolded him and asked him to do his work properly. Saying that he wanted to behead her, but rushed out after hearing footsteps approaching the house.
On January 26, the body of Rajrani Grover was found with the neck slit. “The house was ransacked and jewellery was also missing. A probe revealed that the woman had called two plumbers to repair the water motor,” said DCP (northwest) Aslam Khan.
