Neighbourhood Technology Desk/Avi Arya: Samsung recently launched its flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in India. After the new launch, as expected the company has slashed the prices of its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. As for the new pricing, the 64GB version of Samsung Galaxy S8 is now available at Rs 49,990, which was launched at Rs 57,900.
For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are powered by company’s own Exynos 8895 processor. The smartphones come with Infinity Display which is dual edge and has 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD+ with 1440×2960 pixels resolution and the Galaxy S8+ sports a 6.2-inch display with the same resolution. The displays are protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
