Neighbourhood Entertainment Desk: ‘ Avengers: Infinity War’ is the third installment of the ‘Avengers’ franchise and within five days of its release, the film has broken several records on domestic as well as the international level. According to BoxofficeIndia.com, the multi-starrer superhero film has raked in Rs 20 crore on its first Tuesday, which has taken its overall total collection to Rs 134.83 crore.
Partial holiday in some regions of the country helped the film rake in more. The film is on a record-breaking run which is laying down several benchmarks for Hollywood films which have released in India. As per trade experts, the film is expected to soon reach the Rs 200 crore mark and raise the box office bar even higher. The film is already on its way to cross the collection of the highest grossing Hollywood film in India, 2016 animated film ‘The Jungle Book’, which did a collection of Rs Rs 180 crore.
