Neighbourhood Technology Desk: LG is gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphone, G7 ThinQ on May 2. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed a lot of details of its new smartphone, which will compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Apple iPhone X. Latest from LG is that its G7 ThinQ will feature a Boombox speaker which will increase audio output by 6 decibels. Boombox speaker which will be placed inside the phone will also double as the bass output on the G7 ThinQ. LG also says that placing the smartphone on top of a wooden or iron surface it amplify the sound like a woofer.
Known for enhancing audio output on its smartphones. LG G6 comes with Hi-Fi Quad DAC which delivers a clear and crisp sound when used with headphones, and also claims to reduce ambient noise levels by 50%. LG G7 ThinQ will also come with the same feature. Another audio feature on the G7 ThinQ is DTS:X 3D Surround Sound which as the name suggests will recreate 3D sound for headphones. LG G7 ThinQ will be the first smartphone to incorporate this technology. Rest of the specifications, LG G7 ThinQ is expected to feature a 6.1-inch QHD+ edge-to-edge display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Smartphone’s display is highly speculated to come with a notch much like the trend these days.
