Samsung Galaxy J series with ‘Infinity Display’ to launch in India on May 21

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo features a dual-camera setup, and is priced at Rs 16,990.

Neighbourhood Technology Desk: Samsung is set to launch four new smartphones under its Galaxy J series on May 21. Targeted for millennials, Samsung’s latest Galaxy J series smartphones will feature ‘Infinity Display’. Samsung’s flagship smartphones such as Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9 series feature the “Infinity Display” and now, with the upcoming devices, the display feature would be introduced at lower price points in the Indian market.

The new Galaxy J series would come with features such as “S bike” mode, Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode and “Turbo Speed” technology and are also expected to feature a dual-camera setup. Recently, Samsung launched two smartphones under this series – Galaxy J2 (2018) and Galaxy J7 Duo. Priced at Rs 16,990, Galaxy J7 Duo sports a dual-camera combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. It comes with in-house Exynos 7 processor, and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
