Neighbourhood Technology Desk: Indian smartphone market leader Xiaomi has rolled out its second generation of selfie-focused handset in the country. Called the Redmi Y2, the device is the successor to Redmi Y1, which was launched in November in 2017.

State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched four broadband plans that offer 20 Mbps data speed at a starting price of Rs 99. Launched as a key initiative under Digital India programme, the service was kicked off from Mumbai Central station in January 2016, and Dibrugarh in Assam has become the 400th station to go live today.
