Neighbourhood News Desk: On Tuesday in outer Delhi’s Prem Nagar a 51 year-old woman was arrested for slitting the throat of a man who harassed her daughter. The man, who was thrown near a railway track after the attack, survived. The Woman, who allegedly sells illegal liquor, and her two associates were then arrested.
Suspects were identified as Beena alias Jully (51), who runs a business of illegal liquor, Lal Bahadur (20) and Amit (21), both domestic helps, and Beena’s son Tarun (21), who is absconding. All four hail from Kanchan Pur district in Nepal. The Aman Vihar police on Monday received a call that a person with cuts on his throat was lying near Sukhi Nehar in Prem Nagar. Injured was found lying unconscious near a railway track and was shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital at once.
