Tambo TA-4 smartphone with 18:9 display launched

Neighbourhood Technology Desk/Avi Arya: Domestic smartphone firm Tambo Mobile on Wednesday launched a new budget smartphone in India and is priced at Rs 6,999, and will be available for purchase across distributor channels in India.

Specifications

Features a 5.45-inch HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by a MediaTek 6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz. In terms of memory, it comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card.

The software front, Tambo T-A4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, and houses a 3000mAh battery. For photography, sports an 8-megapixel rear Samsung sensor with Dual-LED flash. Up front it has a 5-megapixel camera with flash for selfies.
