Man robbed by auto driver in Delhi

Auto rickshaw driver, who had given lift to three other men on way to Anand Vihar railway station, stopped the auto en route and all four robbed the victim the moment he got off.

Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: Police said that on friday morning an auto driver and three others robbed a man who was on his way to attend his mother’s last rites of his cash, mobile phone and clothes in south Delhi’s Meethapur.

Having lost his clothes, Rs 10,000 cash and his mobile phone, Kumar was stranded on the road and sought help from a passerby to contact police and his family. Chinmoy Biswal, deputy commissioner of police (south-east), said that a case of theft and assault to commit theft had been registered at Jaitpur police station.
