Neighbourhood Technology Desk/Avi Arya: Facebook announced at its annual developer conference F8 that the popular instant messenger WhatsApp soon gets group calling feature. Today, the company announced that it’s started rolling out the group calling feature for both voice and video calls globally.

Company also claims that group calls are end-to-end encrypted and are designed to work on different networks. Feature is available for both Android and iOS users. In order to make a group call, users just need to follow simple steps. In order to start a one-on-one voice or video call, users first need to tap of the new “add participant” button placed on the top right corner and then app participants to it.
