Latest Evolve series of smartphones feature full touchscreen displays with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Neighbourhood Technology Desk/Avi Arya: Optiemus Infracom has just launched two new BlackBerry smartphones (BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X) in India featuring a full touchscreen display unlike the recently launched Key2 which has a physical QWERTY keyboard as well as security and privacy features where facial recognition is also encrypted.
Both BlackBerry Evolve X and Evolve differ in key areas under the hood. BlackBerry Evolve X is powered by Qualcomm’ Snapdragon 660 processor, while Evolve runs Snapdragon 450 under its hood. Evolve X comes with 6GB of RAM, and Evolve offers a smaller 4GB. Both phones offer the same 64GB of on-board storage with an option to expand it further up to 256GB via a microSD card.
Both pack a 4,000mAh battery along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. In the photography department, Evolve X sports a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors. Evolve also has dual cameras which are a pair of 13-megapixel sensors. Up front both phones sport a 16-megapixel camera with fixed focus and selfie flash.
