New and existing Airtel postpaid and broadband users are eligible for the free Netflix scheme.
Neighbourhood Technology Desk/Avi Arya: Airtel has announced that on Monday a new plan for it’s post-paid and V-Fiber broadband services which will offer three months of free subscription of Netflix. When the free subscription expires, customers can then pay for Netflix either through postpaid or broadband.
This is available for both the new and existing Airtel postpaid and broadband customers. Customers can also activate this free Netflix through the Airtel TV app and the My Airtel app. Airtel says that customers that don’t plan on obtaining it will also be able to sign up or upgrade their Airtel to claim it and pay for Netflix using their Airtel bill.
Airtel earlier this year announced partnership with Amazon for providing free Amazon Prime Video subscription to its select subscribers. This new Netflix plan comes after a few days when Reliance Jio started accepting registrations for its JioGigaFiber services.
