Delhi Metro hit by technical snag, passengers made to deboard train; services affected

Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: Delhi Metro was again hit by a technical snag and so passengers had no choice but to deboard the metro train at Okhla station at 8:20 am. Metro services on the Magenta line were also affected due to the snag and so services were later resumed.

The train which had developed the snag at Okhla NSIC station was then sent to the depot. The Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro is connected to both the Kalkaji Mandir and Janakpuri West.

DMRC spokesperson said, “A train developed a technical snag at 8:19 am at Okhla NSIC station on the Magenta Line heading towards Janakpuri West. To avoid bunching effect for following trains on the section, passengers were deboarded at the station and train was sent to the depot for further investigation at 8:34 am”.
