Delhi’s initiative to breathe fresher Air

Neighbourhood News Desk/ Chetna Narula: Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has recently launched a mega-plantation drive at the Yamuna floodplain in Usmanpur village, as an initiative to curb increasing air pollution in the capital.

The motive of the drive was to plant 5 lakh trees and shrubs in a day across the city. It was reported that around one lakh students and residents are participating in the campaign at 600 locations of Delhi to fight air pollution.

The initiative was not only taken up the students but also many politicians supported this green initiative to make the capital greener and pollution free.
