Delhi’s air quality turned “poor” after monsoon

Neighbourhood News Desk/ Garima Kotroo:  The Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) starts deteriorating after monsoon.  The air quality falls into the “poor” zone due to increasing dust particles after rains stopped.

TheSupreme Court-appointed body Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) has called a meeting to discover feasible solutions to control air pollution.

The condition of NCR cities like Greater Noida and Gurugram is considered to be worse with the very poor air quality levels.

The average air quality index of the city was standing at 197, just four notches below the ‘poor’ category.
