Fuel Prices continue to haunt the capital

Neighbourhood News Desk/ Chetna Narula: Petrol prices that have jumped from 24 paise to Rs 91.08 per litre earlier in August have now crossed Rs 91 per litre in Mumbai on the very first day of October.

In Delhi, the hike in petrol was equal to Mumbai and now curtail at Rs 83.73 per litre. A litre of diesel now costs 30 paise more at Rs 75.09 in the national capital. The hike in global crude oil prices has led to the rise in fuel prices domestically.
