Neighbourhood News Desk/ Garima Kotroo: Four Delhi based bus terminals are going to get a complete renovation under the Delhi government’s Pilot Project by June 2019.
Transport Commissioner Varsha Joshi said that “the department has also surveyed all existing bus shelters, numbering around 1,800, built during the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Their condition will be reviewed in the next one week”.
The terminals will be lifted up with modern facilities like new toilets, water dispensers, LED display panels and sound system for announcements. The aim of this project is to change over the years shabby conditions of terminals and ensure that people get an experience at par with Metro stations.
