New judges to appointed in Indian High courts

Neighbourhood News Desk/ Garima Kotroo: All the 24 high courts in the country will have full-time chief justices after the new appointments of judges to five high courts. Ramesh Ranganathan is appointed as the Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court, while Vijai Kumar Bist is elevated as Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court. Debasish Kar Gupta and Naresh Harishchandra Patil were appointed as chief justices of Calcutta and Bombay High Courts respectively.
