Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: Delhi has on record the worst air quality of this season since the national capital has been engulfed by a thick haze. According to the data by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality in the national capital was recorded at 381 which falls in the very poor category, the highest of this season and just points below severe pollution level.

CPCB-led task force recommends the Supreme Court’s appointed Environment Pollution Control Authority implementation of measures from November 1 to 10.

Some of these are shut down of coal and biomass factories, intense inspection by transport department to check polluting vehicles and traffic control.
