Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: The National Physical Laboratory of India (NPLI) has certified a ground-level air purifying technology that can improve the Delhi air-quality in an open environment.

This technology known as the ‘Clean Air Zone’ is installed on a pilot basis at the Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib where the testing was carried out earlier this month.

Studies that were carried on the machine by the NPLI analyzed the pollution levels outdoors and near the machine and saw an average reduction in PM2.5 levels by 30 micrograms per cubic meter with the PM 2.5 readings dropping by up to 90%.
