India recorded sharp decline in malaria cases

Neighbourhood News Desk/ Garima Kotroo: According to the report of World Health Organisation (WHO), India recorded a substantial decline of 24% in cases of Malaria in 2017 as compared to 2016. 

The successful factors for the reduction of vector-borne disease include rejuvenated political commitments, technical leadership and a righteous mix of disease control measures. 

 The report added that reduction largely to a substantial decline of the disease in “highly malarious Odisha”.
