Neighbourhood News Desk/Avi Arya: A fine of Rs 25 crore has just been recently placed on the Delhi Government by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for failure in stopping air pollution.
The capital’s air quality has been placed in the “very poor”category for the past one week. Eventhough Delhi’s pollution level showed a slight improved on Sunday and came out of the “very poor” zone. But on Monday,Delhi’s air quality is now placed between the “poor” and “very poor” categories.
At these categories, there may be discomfort in breathing on the prolonged exposure, while people with heart disease could face discomfort with short exposure.
