PM Modi to inaugurate India’s longest railroad

Neighbourhood News Desk/ Garima Kotroo: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s longest railroad bridge, Bogibeel Bridge in Assam on December 25, 2018. The bridge is in the eastern part of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is around five kilometres long. 

This overpass over Brahmaputra river will shorten the train journey from Arunachal Pradesh to Assam. The project was firstly introduced by former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda in 1997.
