Neighbourhood News Desk/ Garima Kotroo: Madras High Court has announced that the drivers don’t need to carry physical copies of licence or other vehicle documents while driving as e-copies are valid.

This comes after various petitions filed by the locals against a memorandum saying vehicle drivers should carry original documents. The court observed that in a view of the amendment brought by Union of India on November 2, the petitions have become ineffective.
