The revised budget of 2018-19 has been introduced in which many departments got more funds but on the other hand, the controlling air pollution budget which was allocated of 10 crores has reduced to 7.5 crores for this financial year which is 25 per cent. The air of the city turning poisonous and it is at the worst level.
Arvind Kejriwal said that the burning of crops by farmers is major contribution in air pollution. The budget of Trans Yamuna Board is Rs 52 crore which has been revised to Rs 100 crore. Also, the budget of Swachh Bharat Mission has been reduced from Rs 40 crore to Rs 30 crore.
