A 15-day deadline has been set by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation in order to find the solution in resolving the issue of water that’s accumulating at the Mundka underpass. This problem makes it inaccessible for the commuters.
Standing committee chairperson Veena Virmani along with the commissioner Varsha Joshi visited the site last week and expressed their dissatisfaction towards the excess water seepage as well as the poor condition of the road at the Mundka underpass.
Area councilor Jayendra Dabas, said in the house meetings in past and after, the mayor gave the approval to construct a store room and install a pump to suck out the flooded water from the underpass.
