Amul slammed Google over benefitting miscreants using its name

The Indian dairy firm Amul has sent a legal notice to technology giant Google India over allegedly allowing fake advertisements of Amul Parlours and distributors on its platform. Amul stated that it has been observed that Google Ads platform is allowing such miscreants to use its paid promotion services and benefitted them from revenues. These fraudulent websites allegedly scam in the name of Amul and ask people to pay registration fees ranging from Rs25,000 lakh to 5 lakh.
