In the last three days, Gurugram has seen a rise in confirmed swine flu cases, due to 34 patients testing positive for the virus with seven new cases being reported. Another 64 have been suspected by the government doctors in Gurugram.
According to the health department, the patients who tested positive are suffering from Category C (severe cases that require hospitalization). However, a meeting was conducted by the district health department with the IMA and Haryana nursing council of Gurugram and asked that the private hospitals and clinics send swab samples of every suspected patient to the government hospital after identifying the patient.
