After nearly four months, on January 21, 2019, the canteen at the Delhi’s Ambedkar University once again started serving non-vegetarian food on its Kashmere Gate campus.

Last October, after launching the new canteen, students who were non-vegetarian was saddened by the fact, that the menu didn’t include any non-vegetarian items, including eggs.

Student councilor Sruti MD, a PhD scholar, said that the cafeteria committee members demanded that food items should be mixed and should include non-vegetarian items and were assured that the menu would be revised.
