The hailstorm and rain have affected the crops in Sangrur district due to which farmers have demanded a quick assessment and financial compensation. Reportedly, the Sangrur district has team up for the 1,325
acre standing crops that are underwater in Panjgrayan village. Agricultural Officer Jaswinderpal Singh Grewal said that it is hard to tell that how much of crops have been damaged but fodder and vegetable crops faced more damage.
