On the 70th Republic Day of India the National Capital showcased the Mahatma Gandhi’s 720 days stay in Birla House between 1915 to 1948. The Birla House is known as Gandhi Smriti. The tableau highlighted the residence of Mahatma Gandhi where he stayed for 144 days.
The tableau was decorated very beautifully and in a attractive manner as in the front Gandhi ji is seated and charkha is kept in his background. The Delhi tableau made its comeback after a year’s gap as it delayed to send the proposal to the Central.
