Centre approves of projects to help relieve Delhi

Nitin Gadkari, the Union transport minister said that the centre has given the approval of projects that are worth Rs 50,000 crore on January 26, 2019. Their purpose is to help in relieving Delhi from air pollution, due to it being a serious problem.

Gadkari said that Delhi faces two main problems which is, air and water pollution and so these projects were approved to combat these problems at once.

He also said that he’s been constantly requested by the Northeast Delhi MP and Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi unit president Manoj Tiwari, to try and find a solution about Delhi’s traffic situation as well.
