According to the police, all Delhiites that plan to travel through the central part of Delhi on January 27, better change directions instead. Due to the rehearsal of the Beating Retreat ceremony, Traffic restrictions have been put into place.

Alok Kumar, Joint CP (traffic), said that Vijay Chowk will remain closed from 3.30pm to 9.30pm. This includes traffic restriction on the parts of Rafi Marg, Raisina Road, Krishna Menon Marg, ‘C’ Hexagon and Dara Shikoh Road.

According to the traffic police, the roads avoided are Akbar Road, Ashoka Road, Tilak Marg, KG Marg, Prithvi Raj Road, Mathura Road, Shahjahan Road, Sher Shah Suri Marg, Bhairon Marg, Purana Qila Road and Subramania Bharti Marg.
