Due to poor data collecting, Gurugram’s Comprehensive mobility plan (CMP) has now been delayed. The purpose of this plan was to evaluate the conditions that made mobility a challenge in Gurugram.
This plan was prepared by a team of traffic and mobility experts from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) in Delhi, and plan to use the data that’s been collected from 12 traffic and mobility surveys in Gurugram.
Due to some issues, the entire exercise is being repeated by Delhi-based Apreton Infrastructure at the SPA’S recommendation, at a cost of Rs 1.6 crore. And so instead of the main deadline being December 2018, it will actually be ready by April 2019.
