On February 10, where a wedding was supposed to take place at the Piccadily Hotel in west Delhi’s Janakpuri, its staff was said to be thrashed by the groom’s relatives and friends.

According to the Delhi police, the violence began when the guest started complaining after saying that they were served “cold” food. However the hotel’s manager denied and claimed that the groom’s friends misbehaved with the hotel’s female staff, thus resulting in a fight.

It was even said that the groom and the guest fled without even attending the wedding function. The police didn’t reveal the identities of the groom or the guests or their contact details, but said that they’re residents of the nearby Vikaspuri.
