Chairperson of the NDMC, Naresh Kumar says that cars of Indian brand such as Mahindra and Tata can now be easily charged, at these newly installed 25 e-vehicle charging stations in Lutyens, Delhi. This is possible due to these cars being introduced to electric cars in the market. On a test phase 2 stations at Khan Market will be initiated on Feb 28.
In order to avoid chaos at these stations, NDMC has decided to create booking slots that can be done through a mandatory 311 app. This will help save users from standing in long queues, along with arrangements on advance booking for charging cars while payment of bills can be made using the payment gateway system.
