The Public Work Department (PWD) in Delhi has been rated as the worst performer in Delhi government’s Budget outcome. The department has been failed to achieve its Off-track targets. The targets include 250 projects out of which 113 have been recognised as important ones but PWD managed to complete less than 70% of the given projects.

The off-track project included some important targets also such as
construction of 2.7 km flyover from Munirka to Army Hospital , construction of 3.5 km-Barapullah-3 elevated corridor (Mayur Vihar to Sarai Kale Khan), installation of 1.4 lakh CCTV cameras at public places, construction of the east-west corridor (Anand Vihar to Peeragarhi) and the north-south corridor (Wazirabad to Tilak Nagar).

Reportedly, only 65% of the Barapulla-3 elevated corridor target has been completed, however, the deadline for the project was October 2107.
