According to the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), it was said that five flights were redirected from the Delhi Airport. This was caused due to low visibility and took place on the morning of March 5.
A similar incident also occurred on March 4, where low visibility was also responsible for the redirection of ten flights which also nine domestic and one international flight. DAIL says that the pilots that are in charge of the domestic flights weren’t trained to handle the onboard CAT III B.
Another similar incident took place on February 26; when at least 20 incoming flights were redirected while more than 100 departing flights were delayed, due to rain that took place in Delhi in the evening.
