On March 6, Delhi Government begins taking steps towards road safety through launching four fully automated driving test centers (ADTCs) at four places in Delhi. This decision helps in making test for driver’s license efficient, stricter and comprehensive.
Kailash Gahlot, Transport Minister of Delhi, launched one facility at the regional transport office Mayur Vihar -I and at the same time, three more ADTCs were opened at Vishwas Nagar, Sarai Kale Khan and Shakur Basti. According to the statement from the government, using high-resolution cameras, real-time video, instant results and online registration will make the process convenient and efficient.
Gahlot said that through using advanced technology, that includes high-definition cameras will help evaluate the applicants on 20 essential driving skills, in-line with Central Motor Vehicles Rules.
