On March 14, parts of Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR), including Noida and Gurugram had experienced light to moderate rain. The rain took place in Delhi’s Kalkaji extension, Tuglakabad extension and Vasant Kunj areas.
Moderate rain also took place in the western parts of Noida and eastern parts of Delhi, including Mayur Vihar and IP Extension. According to the forecasts of SAFAR (System of Air Quality Weather Forecasting and Research), the high surface wind speed helps in dispersing the pollutants.
Therefore the air quality can be in the moderate to higher end of satisfactory range for next three days. The weather office said that the temperature recorded was 11.8 degrees Celsius, which is considered four notches below the season’s average.
